The commercial shows a black woman going down a road reading off lottery numbers. From the side view, there is nobody in the car and when she hits that gardener's truck and all that dirt spills, she turns to the Driving Examiner and asks. "Am I covered"? How did he get in her car to test her ?

Ok, I agree with the Agent part. But, why not just magically appear outside of the vehicle instead of being inside with a seatbelt on ?

I don't think that's a driving examiner. I think it's a Nationwide insurance agent, always there when you need them. He magically appears to demonstrate what good service the company provides.

I hate that about Sonic as well. I see the Sonic commercials all the time and want to try their food. I'm in the Detroit area and no Sonic for me. I hear it's quite tasty.
