I recieved one of those proof of insuance papers in the mail that the state of ohio randomly does. Well I forgot ,and sent it out late. Has anyone done this, if so did the state do anything about it? I do not have any thing on my record, I have a completely clean slate, and I have always had insurance!

Yes. I live in Southern Ohio, and I did it when I was 19 (about 5 years ago.) They didn't do anything. I didn't get a fine, or even a slap on the wrist.

They're probably just happy they got it. I'm sure a lot of people forget about that. It's just not something you do every day, week, month, etc...

If they did anything to begin with (which is doubtful, except maybe a note to send a reminder) once they get it they will undo whatever it was, and you will be okay.
