Insurance & Registration - April 2007

I live in Idaho. I have not yet payed off the auto loan so I'm required to have full coverage insurance. According to some people I am paying too much (about 700 for 6 months), as they are paying far less. I have geico, but from time to time I look around and get quotes, and it is always slightly higher than what I have now. However, that might be because I am opting for coverage I might not need.

So the question boils down to, what is the bare minimum requirements for "full coverage" auto insurance in Idaho?

i live in PA and from what i have heard i need to get a learners permit all over again, even though i have been driving for over 15 years. this means getting a physical, and i assume taking the test again? all because my license was out of state and i took too long to get a PA one. plus it has been expired for like 2 years. i just hate going to the dmv. anyone have any experience with this?

my boyfriend was picking me up from work and he had an accident... i had to give the other party my insurance for which i wasnt covered because i hadn't paid the bill that month. so the other party filed a claim against me, but i wasnt the driver. my boyfriend assured me that he would pay for the accident and try and get the claim against him instead... but who is liable? is it me because it was my car? or my boyfriend because he was the driver... no police report was taken.

my job is supposed to provide insurance for the cars that I move. I recently discovered that they have not been providing it. What do I do? They took money from my check twice for a simple scratch that is supposed to be covered by thier insurance that they don't have!! I work for a car rental out at the airport, I'm in charge of getting the cars cleaned up when they are returned after use.

I was in a wreck about two weeks ago where i hit the back of a girl's car. It was minor scratches. We both had insurance but she proposed that we not call the police so that her insurance rates would not go up. She got my number and said she MIGHT call me. So a few days later she calls me and says i owe her 900 dollars and asks me to sign all this crap. can i just never answer her calls again or pay again?

Over the weekend my boyfriend was involved in a hit and run. He was hit by a car that ran a red light. Both of the drivers pulled over and exchanged info. At that time, the other driver told my boyfriend that he could just pay him cash for the damage, my boyfriend said no that he was going to call the PD. Well, the guy took off. We call the police and they said the driver's lisence number we were given isn't valid, but they were able to pull up the driver's info with the plate number and other info we did get. We have a police report showing the other driver at fault for the hit and run. We went to our insurance agent and were told that we were probably better off paying our deductable, getting the car fixed and letting the insurance companies battle it out and hope that we get it back. I'm basically wondering, what are the chances of getting the money back, the police going after the guy, and what to expect (ie: are we going to have to goto court?). Any help is appreciated.

I got pulled over on my way home from baltimore 10 minutes ago ( I live in hagerstown.) And i got pulled over for doing a 46 in a 65 zone, and failure to keep center. They thought i was drinking.. But im only 16 and they smelled alcohol so i had to take a field test with like 5 state troopers around. Scared the crap out of me and was very nervous and shaky, but i passed by keeping my head still and using my eyes to locate the finger, but anyways i got a warning, does it affect my 6 month hold period for my permit? i only have 2 weeks until i can get my provisional and im worried that its reseted..
