My friend was driving my car yesterday and she had a bit to drink. A cop pulled us over and she got a DUI and we both got MIPS. I'm 19, so the cops don't have to call my parents, but the registration for my car is under my moms name. Will they contact her or send her something in the mail?

You Bet they will. And they could have charge her with
the same thing if she new that she was driving The car
under the influence of alcohol.

They may. You should have been cited for riding while stupid. Unless you were in worse shape then she, you should have driven. If you were both impaired, then a taxi should have been called. People would have applauded your good judgment, in that case.

Probably not, since you are over 18. If they do contact her, maybe you won't make the same mistake twice.
