i live in Texas and need info on how i go about getting customized vanity plates on my car

You'll also need to submit your choice of letters and hope they're not prohibited or already being used by someone else. Also, you pay a premium every time you renew that registration. Here in Alabama, it's $50 extra PER YEAR for vanity plates.

same place you get regular plates. in my state VA u can look on the net to see if the plate u want is taken or not.
