Recently, i got a dui and i know have to get my vehicle registration out of my name. can i just transfer the title over to a family member and still keep my loan and insurance in my name?

Transferring registration of a vehicle with the intent of defrauding the department of motor vehicles or the court is fraud.

Fraud is a crime that will get you time in prison.

Nope, if the title states you are the owner and you have a loan in your name agaist the car as collateral, the only way is to pay off loan, or refinance loan, with something else as collateral. You can not transfer any property that has a lein on it..

NO; because it's not your car. It's the banks. Check with them, but it you are coming off the registration totally they will have to know. Insurance varies from state to state; you'll need to talk to your agent.

for recieving a dui you should do some jail time any how so go ahead and commit this fraud
