I'm planning on buying a 2002 Mercedes C230 Kompressor and was wondering what I can expect to pay for insurance on the car? I'm a 19 year old male but it is under my parents insurance which allows us to put the 'main' driver as one of them and my 'main' car as another one of ours so I shouldn't be paying more b/c I'm young. Just a rough estimate would be nice thanks

tough question to answer unless you include coverage info, ie 100K, 300K, 500K or millions, what your and your parents driving records are etc. I would go to websites like progressive.com, aisinsurance.com, geico.com and use their free quote web forms.

I would think off hand with a good driving record and 500K coverage it would be around 1200-1500 a year.

Depends on your location and annual mileage too. As that's considered a sports car I'd say MORE than 1500 a year, probably closer to 2000, but I tend to go high. :) But then that is an expensive car (to me).
