Just as you would any other car. Go to your insurance agent and tell them you need car insurance for this car. Having a leased car is just the same as if you are making payments in buying the car. The good thing is at the end of the lease, it is their car and the lease payments are most likely less then if you buy the car. A good way to go if you get a new car every 2/4 years.

Why do people make this so complicated? You lease a car. You sign the agreement that says you will have insurance. You take the paperwork to your broker and get insurance. You take the proof of insurance to the dealer, and he gives you the keys. You don't take proof of insurance, he doesn't give you the keys. As a licenced broker and registration agent, I have registered and insured leased vehicles for years. DVLA doesn't insure vehicles, they register them.

Contact the people you leased the car from. The insurance may already be included in the payment. If not they can tell you what kind of coverage you need.
You can then contact your insurance agent and arrange coverage and then you will probably have to notify the leasing company of the policy number. Good luck

You can't lease, buy, or rent a car without insurance, the Dealer won't allow it. You had to of had insurance when you signed the contract. This is a very strange question.

It's very simple, here's what you do. You approach an insurance company and say, "Can I insure a leased car, please?"
