If someone hits a piece of slush/ice and goes into the ditch and hours later someone else hits the same slippery spot and hits the other car still in the ditch. who is responsible for the damages? Is a no fault ( you each pay for your own)?

hi all! i was driving on a dual carriage (30mph limit) way with a passenger.. i stopped behind an estate car which wanted to turn right into its property. because of opposite flow of traffic i waited for a while behind him.. other cars started undertaking us on the left lane. i decided to move into the left lane to go pass the estate car. i looked in my mirrors (inside mirror was a black merc), i looked into my left mirror waited until it was clear signalled left, check my blind spot.. and then when it was clear i started to moved into the left lane. suddenly my mate started shouting "woohoo watch out" i quickly glanced over my left saw this fast car approaching. i cudnt move back into the right lane cos the estate hadn;t move yet. so i floored the accelerator hoping to get out of the fast car's way..
unfortunately he hit us..(nobody hurt) he damaged my rear wheel arch and passenger doors wont open, my rear bumper intact.. his driver side wing was damage and axle bent.

help!!

I am in my thirties and can't drive due to a severe lack of skill. I have had three accidents in driving instructors cars and find it hard to judge distance. Is there any advice on what I can do to improve (don't say get a friend to teach me as they refuse after I nearly hit a fence in one of their cars) and do you think I will ever pass?

My custom 95' eclipse was rearended by a Ford F-150, my car was trashed, completely destroyed b/c the impact pushed my car against a rock wall. The F-150 only sustained minor damage to its bumper and a broken headlight. My wife (2months pregnant) and I both went to the ER via an ambulance, she had a broken nose, badly bruised eye, burns from the airbags deploying, and bruises all over her body. I only had a lacerated eyebrow and a badly bruised thumb, however the next day I returned to the ER due to extreme neck pain and muscle soreness, not to mention the pulsating pain on my bruised thumb. I was pescribed pain killers, muscle relaxers, and anti-inflamatory meds. The blue book value for my car is "$2,940" however, the add-on's are worth at least $3,000! Custom paint, 17"rims, spoiler (wing), body kit (front/rear bumper & sideskirts), high perf. muffler, etc.. The accident took place in Missouri, a non "No-Fault" state. With the customazations, my car is not worth the blue book value!!

Would I get compensated for the add-on's??

I drove my car to CA from NY last April. Its been an ongoing saga to get it registered here (failed smog once, check engine light problems, unemployed twice, etc) and I'm all ready to register it here. The problem is, when I moved out here, I was unemployed for about a month and I let my insurance lapse for 10 days. NY wanted me to send my plates in to them for 10 days and then go pick them up as a penalty for no insurance for that time. Obviously I couldn't do that, since I'm on the other side of the country. Now I want to register my car properly since I finally passed smog, but my NY registration is suspended! To make it worse, I can't find my registration certificate! Am I going to have a problem registering it? Will they take my car? What should I do?

Last week a car crashed into my 8 foot brick boundary wall, completely smashing it down, The car landed on its side in my back garden. The driver climbed out the car and ran off. The police have just informed me as the drivr ran off they did not have any body for the crime leaving me with a £2.500 repair bill. My insurance does not cover my boundary walls so now I am at a total loss of what to do and am really stressed. I do not have the money to cover. Somebody told me about a fund that helps people out who have been affected by an uninsured driver, but nobody else really knows anything about it. I would be most grateful if anybody can help me with this!!!!!!!!

My windshield was really frosty but I only had to drive like 20 yards to get where I wanted. So like an idiot, I start driving and run into a fire hydrant. This damages the front right quarter panel, the right blinker, and it may have also damaged the axel or steering column because I couldn't get my car to move after that. What do I tell my insurance company? and am I going to have to pay anything?

I was hit from behind by an uninsured motorist and I filed a claim on my own auto policy under the uninsured motorist coverage. I do not have an attorney at this point, and I don't know what to expect. My medical treatment is almost over and I will be ready to settle the claim soon.
