Is there any truth to the rumor that some BMWs have a wire in the cruise control system that will short out and cause the car to accelerate even more when you brake. Have heard of it happening more than once. Have considered purchasing a 97-98 740IL and was just wondering.

what would cause my odometer to stop working? All other gauges are functioning, but my mileage isn't. I have no idea if possibly my other gauges arent working??

The car didn't come with an owners manual nor did it come with an underdash fuse box cover. Can anyone list the fuse box locations or give me an address on the net for the fuse box? I know a few fuses need to be changed to fix a few problems and I don't want to have to go through each one for a "trial and error."

I have a 2004 chevy impala with a 3.4 V6. I pulled out the daytime running lamps relay and the started the car without it. I saw the "Service Vehicle Soon" light in the message center come on. I shut off the car and put back the relay. I started it up and the light was gone. What causes this light to come on. i definitely know that is not a problem with the enging, otherwise the service engine soon light will come on.

I have a 93 Jeep Cherokee 2 door with the 4.0L engine, and all of a sudden it decided to not start. I changed the plugs and wires about 3 months ago and it seems that the spark plugs are getting NO spark. I thought it might be the coil; I replaced it and still didn't start. Please, Someone help!

I need to know about the anti-theft system. I have a third horn and a switch for the hood. I don't have a switch for the t-tops and there is not any wires going to the left door lock. Do I have an anti theft system??

just inspected my cavalier and they told me a little play in the right side ball joints, is this major to fix??? also while the car ran i saw some condensation leak from under the right side door, the air conditioner wasnt running at the time so is this a problem starting ???

I have an 01 Accord V6 with an Auto Trans. (all stock) with approx 95K miles that has stalled on three different unrelated occasions. The first time happened just after I merged onto the interstate at 65-70 mph. The engine became unresponsive, the car started to slow down, I drove onto the shoulder and it died. I put it in neutral, started it, and it drove fine for a couple of months. The second time it happened was while holding a steady speed of about 35 mph on a highway with the same symptoms. The third time was around 2-3 months later while slowing down for a red light. All three times I had around 1/2 tank of gas and was at normal operating temperature and all three times happened the same way by becoming unresponsive then stalling then starting right back up. Anyone else had this problem?
