The problem is with my odometer only? Everything else seems to be reading (gas, speedometer, oil, and battery)correctly, but for some reason my mileage isn't adding miles as I drive.

Speedometer and odometer? Broken cable to tailshaft of the transmission.

Odometer only? It's broke.

ADDED:
There are two portions of the odometer.
One is total mileage. The other is "trip" mileage.
Press and release the reset button on the dash several times to reset the "trip" odometer.

When you push it in, let it "POP" back out by sliding your finger off it while it's pushed in.

It might help, it might not. But it's worth a try.

Is your truck exhibitting any other usual driveability symptoms? Is the "check engine" light on? Is it your speedometer AND your odometer inoperative, or just the odometer, ONLY? The speedometer on your particular vehicle operates by receiving an "input" from the output shaft speed sensor on your transmission, to your vehicle's PCM (powertrain control module). The PCM then sends this "signal" via a circuit to your instrument cluster to indicate vehicle speed. With that said, if it's only the speedometer not working, you could have a problem with the speedomter itself, or the instrument cluster's printed circuit board. If not, you should be getting a P0500 code stored in your PCM, as well as transmission upshift issues as well, since that input is used for other purposes. Hope this helps.

Edit: If the speedometer functions properly, your problem is with the odometer itself. This is a dealer ordered item only. This repair should only be carried out by a dealer technician due to the obvious legal aspect of the repair, regarding accurate mileage indication.

I believe your truck gets the speedometer and odometer reading from the rear differential and is entirely electircally activated. First I would check for a blown fuse, next I would check the rear differential to see if its still plugged in.
