I have an 88 Chevy van 20 that has a service engine soon light coming on.Also the brake light is on yet the emergency brake is not.Also when you press the gas pedal its really hard to press down and dosnt seem to have the power going up a hill on the highway.Please Help.

i think the coupe would be higer because its a sports car but the convertible is more expensive...im deciding between a 07 coupe or convertible ford mustang..just not sure of what insurance will be since i havent had my license long

there is an old mustang like 60's year that has been under a tree for many years that hasent moved.. i wanted to offer the old man to buy it.. how much should i offer..the trim seems to be all in place.. it porbally dosent run it has a lot of surface rust and int is probally shot???? how much?

Just bought a 2006 Cobalt with 14K miles. The key can be pulled out of the ignition while car is being driven. (Even on the express way) Is this normal or should I get it checked out?...it's under warranty. Are ignition problems common on the 06 Cobalt?

I am installing a 2002 engine in our 1997 Sunfire. I have the complete wrecked 02 for a donor car, so I have the engine harness and all parts needed. I know that I have to change out the engine computer and harness, but would like to know if I can stop short of changing out the whole dash harness to accept it.

My question is, can anyone ID what the pin locations on the master passthruogh connector under the airbox are. The block has a number and letter code to id wire location, so I assume there must be a master key to read these. There are about four wires that are not the same color from the 02 to the 97, and the 97 has one wire missing. The spot is there but no wire. I would like to compare what the differences in them are before I go and cange dashes also. I have searched online with no luck and bought the haynes manual, it does not id the passsthrough block. I have also stopped by a couple of dealers and asked but left empty handed.

The keyless entry fob was for my dad's old 1999 subaru, and he still has the key fob for it, and I was wondering if I could somehow program it to my 97 nissan maxima. Would I have to reset the key fob before programming it? Someone help?

all o-rings new. when I evacuate the system, I hear a leak between the pipe and accumulator. So I step up the size on the o-rings there. still leaking.
Any thoughts or suggestions?

okay i have a inline 6 jeep grand cherokee i need it to sound stronger and deeper but im getting all these diffrent answers here's what i have for ideas

~turbo muffler some say yes some say no
~flowmaster 40 series maybe 50 the mecanic says it could sound good or bad wtf?
~im out of ideas l dont really want to spend over 300$ on this unless needed

i found a 1991 toyota camry for $1100, the blue book value is 1700 (fair condition). I think its worth 800 and will only pay that. I test drove it yesterday and was taking it to a mechanic but it was too late and on sunday they are closed. The problems with the car is the steering IF U LET GO OF THE WHEEL IT WILL PULL ITSELF LEFT. another problem the belt thingy on the altinator DONT NO HOW OLD IT IS. audio doesnt work with speakers. has over 164,000 miles and WHAT MAKES THE MILEAGE SO IMPROTANT. recent changes she changed the brakes and checks the oil lots and saw proof of her last oil change. and giving a free new tire with it. and makes a noise when driving. my question is are these problems major and if they become a problem whats an estimate on cost to fix them.....May buy thursday, im a college student and need it for work and school, no major traveling out of the city or state. please answers all questions :D

like when I start the car up sometimes its fine but after a while the driver side buld goes out. if I start to take the lens apart it come back on? there is a black 2006 c6 convertible for sale for $57000 that i am interested in, this C6 has every option a zo6 comes with, all the options together cost almost $11000, its an 06 model but it has 0 miles on it,for the second car im interested in is the 07 Boxter, which brand new cost around $52000 with tax with hardly any options, i personally am thinking about getting the C6 but the interior is very cheap, but since the Boxter is German its in a totally different class, which car is a better buy?

so yeah, any ideas on why the dome fuse blows the moment the battery is connected, and which fuse is for the sound?
note the dash clock went out at the same time as the stereo, so i guess theyre on the same fuse
