I think the fan speed needs to be turned on to get A/C to turn on. Rear Defrost might not turn on unless the heater is on.

Check the fuses and relays. You can find the info for the location in the owners manual.

probably vast funds if this is what went incorrect with my G6 (same platform). i have forgotten, yet i believe they had to modify the entire guidance column and that i also imagine the warranties were prolonged via form of issues, that's even if that's an same reason as mine.
