Will a K &N air filter made for a 3.8L 2001 chevy impala fit my 3.4L impala?

can i modify it so it can fit my car? is there another maker out there that is made for a 3.4L?

Yes this filter will fit providing that the diameter of the air filter
tube is the same, if it is a cold induction type ,and removing the stock airbox.

If it's the same year Impala then no mods should be neccesary it's the same filter for both engines.
