I need to vent a canopy. It is the aluminum framed type with carpet installed as a liner. It won't work to just open the windows so I want a good roof vent or two but I don't know what to expect when we cut into the canopy.

No lights are on.
Faint ticking noise, but that could be because it's shaking.
VIOLENTLY bouncing, enough to make my butt fall asleep.
Only happens when speed is 55+mph, and not when accelerating, just when at a constant speed.
Tires are decent, no wear, not bald.

I Think it is coming from my tranny. It will vibrate in intervals of 1 to 3 seconds while traveling between 35 - 45 mph. Anyone have any Ideas? '98 3.8L V6 150hp 4 sp automatic with O/D.

Whenever I start my car all the gauges go all the way to the right then after a second or two come back to normal. I just replaced the CPU last year but I seem to remember them doing that before when the cable leads to the battery were loose.

I have a 1993 BMW 318i and everytime I start the car during winter, it squeeks real loud and when I press the gas it squeeks even louder, it goes away when the engine warms up a little. I've had this problem since last winter and it only occurs during winter. What can be the problem?

So the other day all of a sudden my check engine light came on. Nothing seems different or wrong with my car, but it's stayed on for over a week now, and I've never seen it on before. I took the car into a shop to have them check the problem, but they couldn't locate the plug on my model. The guy spent a good while looking before getting another guy, who seemed to know what he was doing well enough, and he hunted up and down for it, even looked through the car manual and everything. He said he's never seen a car that didn't have the plug in the places they checked. Is there something special about my car that it's hidden elsewhere? It's really weird...it should be there under the dash...it just isn't...

Help?

What will the price range be if I restored my 1966 mustang Coupe Shell? The car is a complete shell with old paint on it. I have no Idea on how much it would cost if they stripped my car to bare metal and the painted it raven black or viper blue. My car is 95% rust free and I need a idea on how much it would cost. ok i bought headers for my 72 dodge charger and it's to big and not enough room for it? my question is my dad told me to put back the stock manifold and to put side pipes and cut off the muffler and that would make my car sound loud. is this true and also what could i do to make my car sound loud?

I haven't seen anything worse that the Escalade XLT. Unlike the Hummer, which accepts being ugly and is appreciated for what it can do, the Escalade looks pretentious. Maybe it is intended to look macho, but I think it looks grossly obese and pathetic, with a lot of bulk and bulges. If I worked for Cadillac I would be embarrassed to offer the public this awful-looking vehicle.

I have an 04 nissan murano and was thinking of switching it to the 07 jeep wrangler. I have a feeling I will kick myself in the A*s for doing it, but it's such a cool car. I just wanted to know if it would handle like my murano in the snow and just in general if it's a problematic car.
