Car Makes - February 2007

I just swaped engines in this car and all seems fine except for one thing the cooling fans are constantly on even when its not running thus eating up the battery. Also my temp gauge in the car does not give any reading while its on. If anyone can help please answer this im lost.

I have a 1993 jeep wrangler. 5 speed 4wd The mechanic is asking for 1,000 to fix the clutch. Is that too much or is that reasonable?

Recently purchased an 03 Corolla CE with only 32k miles on it. It is in great shape.

Given that I am an extremely conservative driver and that I live in the cold and snowy northeast, how long can I expect this car to last me as long as I do all the required maintenance? Thanks.

little bit of snow covering the hood and I put the wipers on, they went up, then didnt go back down. I cleared all the anow out of the way and tried turning them back on so theyd go down, but they wont. Any idea whats going wrong?

Hi all,

Just thought I might get some help on here. As stated in the question, my 93 altima repeatedly stalls (at random I might add about 2-3 times a day). On the freeway, city streets. Sometimes it may be after 1 minute after a cold start, other times its after 50 mins of 70mph driving on the freeway. RPM drops to zero and takes about a good 15-20 tries to get it started again. Timing chain is fine. Fuel pressure is fine, the distributer assembly was replaced with a new one (in the hopes that it would fix the problem but not much luck), fuel pump was replaced about a year ago, spark plugs are about a year old. I've taken it to 2 mechanics and both are stumped. Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

I need your thoughts on this, I bought brand new 2007 Honda Accord EXL silver/black leather int. ....for $23k.....was it a good deal or a avg. deal or bad deal. Remember its EXL fully loaded without Navigation system though. Let me know so I can feel little better.....its lotta money :-)

I found a great rust free camaro body 1986 very low cost. The old carmaros are way too much money. I want to bold in a ford 9" with posi and 456 a nice turbo 350 and a nice warmed over 350 small block. I can pull this off for around 4k and I should get to see the High12sec @105MPH. do you thing a camaro body in a good pic. Seem like everyong is racing G bodys and I think the camaro is way cooler...

Volvo 850/1993. The lamp placed on the right side of the control screen, which indicates electronic problems, switched on yesterday. I am in the place without any reliable car servis.
The first proper mechanic is 500 km away. I am wondering can I continue driving with this lamp on or not? What kind of specific problems I may expect? thanks in advance for your kind answer

It starts if you touch solenoid with screwdriver. We just don't know what else to do. Could it be a lose connection or something? About 2 outta 10 times it starts fine. HELP PLEASE!

I was driving my car and everything was fine and the security light came on for about 45 seconds then went off. didnt think much of it but when i got off work later my car wouldnt start. It would go try and the lights and radio would start but when i turned the key all the way nothing happened. (It was also close to 0 degrees last night, if the weather would make a difference in anything) But after i took out my key my "Security" light stayed on for about five minutes. Whats wrong with my piece of crap camaro??
