I have one for 8 years. I love it. I just picked it up today after having the timing belt done. I didn't read the materials....the belt should be checked and/or changed after 60,000 miles. The car owes me nothing. Hardly any trouble, but I only put on around 9,000 mles a year. The water pump went 3 months ago. Aside from those 2 things I replaced the brakes and pads about a year after I got the car. I got the car at 22,000 miles...it now has 80,000.

If you bought 5 of them and put them side by side, 4 might run good and one might have problems. That is indicative of any car.
A car is only as good as the care you put into it. If you buy a car, then go hotrodding around and treating it like cr@p, you'll sit there and moan...."this car keeps breaking down".
But a car is like a woman,....if you treat her right, she'll be around for a loooong time!

As long as it is well maintained, it's a fine car. It's when you forgot to maintain it for a few months, THEN it starts to give you trouble.
Engine bay is VERY cramped, esp. if you have the V6 instead of the I4 engine. So labor costs to work there is higher than normal. Engine itself is very reliable.
