I just swaped engines in this car and all seems fine except for one thing the cooling fans are constantly on even when its not running thus eating up the battery. Also my temp gauge in the car does not give any reading while its on. If anyone can help please answer this im lost.

sounds like a malfunctioning temp sensor.
and/or if someone re-attached the cooling fans they might have wired them directly to the battery? (ive seen it)

Sounds like the fan switch is faulty. Good advice on the vwvortex though.
