I Think it is coming from my tranny. It will vibrate in intervals of 1 to 3 seconds while traveling between 35 - 45 mph. Anyone have any Ideas? '98 3.8L V6 150hp 4 sp automatic with O/D.

I agree with what was posted, possibly tires out of balance. If you have not had them balanced recently then that would be the best place to start. The tires should also be rotated around every 6,000 miles. There are other options for the vibration but the balancing should be done either way so you may as well rule that out.

tires or driveshaft not balanced correctly. put car on a lift if possible and go between 35-45 and see if theres still a vibration.to narrow down the cause of the vibration. or take to a ford dealership the have a NVH tool, Noise Vibration Harshness they can pin point your concern.

um, are your tires balanced correctly? i would try that, and if it's not that it may be the driveshaft. you can have both of those parts checked at the shop.
