I have had two explorers for over 10 years and had no tire problems. I think most people don;t keep their tires properly inflated and look for a free handout when they have a problem. I detest Law firms and their clients who are out to get rich at other peoples expense.

no investigate all 3 angles....

A vehicle that was marketed to people unfamliar with the handling of trucks being advertised as the new station wagon.. and air pressure that was set kind of low to help in stability

A tire manufacturer that tried to deny that a batch of tires made at a plant was the culpret for failure if pushed to their limits.. basically no safety margin factored in. (and who have had issues since with tire failure...

And a customer base that they found to either not maintain or very ignorant of the correct pressure needed in those tires for stability and the high failure rate by most going over the posted speed limit (as in most cases)

Tires go out because no one checks tire pressure any more. When the tire blows, tire company's get blamed, then tire companies blame the cars. As long as people don't maintain their car, and their are lawyers things will never be right.
