where is the fan motor located in a pontiac grand am 2001?

i live in the u.p. of michigan and it is -5 degrees here the sooner i get a answer the warmer i'll be driving 50 miles to work every day.

It's under the cover for the heater core on the right side firewall the back part of the engine compartment. may have to access through the passenger side underdash. But check the firewall first. It will be near the heater core the 2 lines running into the firewall from the engine.

immediately behind the fan. it will be in a housing mounted on the fan.
