i have a 1977 el camino and it has malibu classic decals i know very little about these cars and i want to know exactly what the malibu classic is and where a good place to buy parts for it such as a 4 barrel carb thanks and God bless

Your in luck. Gm made so many carbs that crossed over from engine to engine. If you want a bigger CFM carb then get one off a truck. The car carb is only around 500 to 650cfm, depending upon the case numbers.
Transmission, motor, and everything on the car is interchangeable. Now you will have something to brag about if you can find the Laguna front nose and put it on the El Camino. MY GOD that would be so cool. I hope this el comino is rust free.

Your local auto parts store can sell you a rebiult one just like you have or get a AFB replacement

Look in jegs. I think those are chevvele fenders on it because there interchangeable. Also check the internet it will help you with your search. good luck.

not too many after market parts for that car as of yet, you could buy a new carb from summit racing for it.

Performance Automotive Warehouse (PAW) is great they have parts for any v8. Their Catalog is bigger then a phone book.
