Whenever I start my car all the gauges go all the way to the right then after a second or two come back to normal. I just replaced the CPU last year but I seem to remember them doing that before when the cable leads to the battery were loose.

This is fuzzy.. but I see a new battery possibly in your life of your vehicle... or new battery cables

The battery if weak can loose power to the gauges and it will do that after you start it.. (It's a self check function actually that you are seeing)
