My car recently started to shake a bit when I turned it on, but I also just moved to a much colder climate so I assumed that was it because once the temp rose, it ran fine. Last night I realized my car desperately needed oil, so I just put some in and when I turned it on again, it was shaking but it seemed much worse this time. Like it was going to die on me any second.

My car needs a new water pump and thermostat for a 2000 Grand Cherokee Laredo 2wd, inline V6. Was wondering if anyone knows what the going cost of replacing them would be so I don't get ripped off. I know I can buy the parts myself for about 75 bucks at NAPA or any parts store, including gaskets etc. But how much should I expect to pay for the labor?

Already changed out the CV-joints, the lower right ball joint, brakes are in good shape, no noise from the bearing.

It only does it when I am applying the brakes and coming to a stop, I hear the noise at around 10mph and under...

the car has 200,000 miles on it in good running condition, but recently the car began iddling irradicly. it is a manual transmission and when i have the car in nuetral or am on the clutch it revs to about 2k rpm and lowers to .5k rpm. it doesnt stall, but it is annoying. when the car is driving the problem is non-existant. anyone had a similar problem with the 1.9L escort? which sensor?
