Yes of course you can. You will need a pulley, a larger V Belt, a new Rack and Pinion, a new steering gearbox, reservoir so that the Power steering fluid will be held in and the power steering motor. I think there are Ford Ka's that have power steering so you can buy the original kit. It will cost a substantial amount of money though and I don't think that it would be worthed. If I remember well the Ka doesn't have a hard steering to steer cause it isn't that heavy in front to make the steering hard to turn.

Yes anything is possible

You will neeh "ALL" the components from a KA that has PAS and I do mean everything

The rack, possibly the column, all the pipework and clips etc, the PAS pump and all it's mounting brackets and that may incorperate other brackets as well, crankshaft pulley as this will also be different.

It is a lot of work but it is possible. Don't forget you are working with the steering and unless you are very competent I suggest you recruit the services of a good local garage

Creaking would properly be noise from the CV joints. verify the boots for cracks. in the adventure that they are cracked there'll be various grease around the area. If no longer a CV joint then you surely would have worn bushings causing the noise. As for the "Lumpy" feeling - i have not a clue. Heavy? will be low on fluid, yet that would want to in many cases make the pump GROAN like loopy, surprisingly once you turn the wheel. if that's the case then you surely have a leak. The gadget ought to probable be regarded at by technique of a specialist to verify the reason of the leak. it will be a foul pump. They DO placed on out. And the Ka become one among Ford's worst autos ever. Chevy's Geo and Cavalier, stay sparkling of's Neon - all junk autos. do not recognize why the executives might want to even enable such junk on the line. wish this facilitates. 'av'a g'day mate. '')

It's not impossible as there is no fundamental differences with the body, but it could be expensive if you intended to use new parts.
You'll need the rack, lower column, pump, reservoir and all the bracketry associated with it.
