Well I like Renaults....
I have a 2001 Megane Classic, 1.6 gas engine... nice car... can put up a fight against other, "better" cars... I mean that... I smoked a BMW x3 at a stoplight and my car's not even tuned...
Also, the newest addition to the club: a 2006 Laguna II, 1.9 diesel engine, but not my fav...it lacks the "spark", but has the "muscle"...
What I want to get is the Megane Sport - nothing but good reviews...
But.... RENAULT RULES! They won the F1 championship after all.

Ford Mustang GT. If you want Luxury though check out some used Jaguars, Mercedes Benz, Audi or BMW's you can pick up a super loaded top of the line used (5-10 yro) import for veritable peanuts and let the good times roll.

A nice Jap car like Honda, Toyota, Mitsubishi or Subaru for the weekend (And Evo III and an Impreza STi for the weekend).
While for everyday use I like a Fiat - nice models, good handling and economical.

1988 Porsche 911. Everywhere I go people still look even if it's old. It has parts that are easy to find, and easy to work on IF you know what your doing. Runs great and gets good gas mileage, and handles like it's on a rail. Keeps it's value and style for decades.

Pontiac Vibe w/manual trans. decent power, 130 HP, 35 mpg, Lotsa room. Mechanically sound.
Vibe GT, 6 speed manual. even better power, 175 HP, but only 30 mpg.
I have one of each.
Very "normal" yet very FUN and affordable!

The Ford Mustang....
And for the price of a BMW M3, I can supercharge it AND still afford Steeda suspension pieces. Bye bye Beemer.
