Fiats were pretty bad, also Hyundai (all the Koren cars are about 5-10 years behind japenese cars, in quality)

Fiats of that era will be a good choice as a winner, Chevys usually would get you from point A to point B but would be a very slow, dull ride (at least until the rear end or transmission would self destruct). Any Peugeot was total crap (still is). Renault was also a tow truck magnet. Any MG, Triumph or Jag would strand you on the roadside so often you could collect aluminum cans for a living. Early Hyundai Excel was crap.
Damn...the list goes on and on....

In my opinion FIAT sucks and so does CHEVY durning these yrs. When it comes to a car, I would say Honda. NOT TOYOTA, CHEVY, DODGE, and diffently NOT MAZDA! PAST EXPERIENCE......
