It isn't bad with highway driving but is really bad with stop and go traffic. My mechanic said it could be all sorts of different things. A sensor or something. Also is stalls and takes around 15 minutes to start.

Im just getting my licence, and there is a Chevy Blazer for sale with 130K miles, selling for $2,400. That is the only thing I dont like about it. Everything else is in excellent condition. Interior and exterior are excellent. I know im going to put some money into it. There is a small oil leak, and the shifter has a over tight cable. But is 130K miles too much for a Blazer?

My car (that I bought in July) Broke down on me in the middle of a highway the other day.. Earlier that day I had realized that when I put oil in the night before I forgot to put the oil cap back on. So immediately I connected the two things.. Did I do this by leaving the cap off.. I didnt drive prob more than 20 miles, but there was definitely oil splatter. It's at the mechanic but I havent heard anything yet. Did I do this?? What could it be?? the car wouldnt start back up..

Every time I ask her she gets defensive ,but I really don't care because this school year is already halfway over and I don't know how to drive. I don't know how she expects me to get out of her house without any transpirtation. The whole situation is ridiculus. And no the school that I attend does not offer lessons.

I am considering trading my low mileage Jeep Sahara for a cheap new Subaru since I like to take extended/long trips including skiing, mountain biking, etc. I love the Jeep, but I'm almost considering it more toy than transportation. Agree?

I had to cut off the connectors for the battery terminals. I put on generic connectors. Now the battery connection often seems to short out. I bang around on the terminals and the connection comes back to life and the truck starts, but its getting old!
It seems hard to change the battery cables out on a Ford F150 so how do I do a proper connector installation to avoid my problem?

So i posted a question saying i want a v-rod and everyone says its too hard to handle for a new rider. So what kind of harley should I get? It HAS to be a Harley, NOTHING ELSE!!! I want a nice one, and one with a loud engine. I crave that sound!! I'm 15 years old, female. And I DO have enough money, of my own, to buy a sportster right now, or something else, used. But I'm still going to save up.

So what type would be good for a girl beginner? I DON'T WANT ANYTHING SISSY/GIRLY, I want something tough, something that looks tough also.

Thanks!!

If they came before hand (after being warned of what's coming), they could have a head start and the ice wouldn't have a chance to "pave the roads" with ice, because as soon as the freezing rain fell it would start getting eaten. Then tada, the snow at least has holes in it to start with.

Bought a used car for over 10K from a Subaru dealership. When it rains, the back seats get wet, big mystery how (no sun roof). My question though is does the dealer have to fix this, or is it my car now? I had the car for maybe 2-3 weeks before we noticed the water and complained to the dealer. Thanks.

I need to get new tires for a 2002 Chevrolet Tracker. The current tires are 195/75-15's. I am having a hard time finding these tires for a reasonable price. My question is can I put 195/60-15's on this vehicle? These ones are cheap and I can get them anywhere. The other size I have looked at is 65's, these are a good opption as far as money goes, I am just unsure as to what tires I can use.

But then it would all of a sudden crank and start normally on once of these lucky tries. The battery is relatively new, and the headlights, radio, and power locks all working just fine. This continued for weeks. Now I've run out of luck and I can no longer get it to crank once in a dozen tries. It's a '93 Chrysler minivan. Any body has any idea what I can try before getting it to the mechanics?

I was just putting my winter tires on and when I was done and I moved the car, I noticed a very loud metal to metal noise in the left front wheel. I took it back apart and thought it was the metal shield behind the rotor. Upon furthur investigation, It seems that when I tighten the lug nuts, they rub on something inside the rotor I think, making this loud noise. It's like the nuts are too long or something, but they are the same ones that were on before. So now I'm not going to drive it until I find out what it is, and I really can't afford to put any money into it. The car is a 91 BMW 3 series if it matters. Please help!

Yesterday, a particularly cold night. (I was only wearing PJ's and a thin denim jacket) I caused a minor collision with the car in front of me, at a stop light. The car I bumped was a 2004-2006 Red Mustang.

We pulled over and decided not to get insurance involved. The lady said that she was advised to settle for $100 bucks and that she would eat whatever (if any) difference.

There was damage to the top of her fender, which I believe was fiberglass. About 3-5 inches of black scrapes that didn't seem to come off when we tried to buff them. They may have been a bit deep. There was obvious scratches to the bottom fender, that were a little deeper than those previously mentioned. Of course, I got it in writing that no further action would be pursued.

It was certainly a gamble to settle on the spot. I believe there was a greater chance that the cost would have been larger if she got quotes first, what do you think?
