got 2 tickets in staten island by the nypd highway patrol. I cant make it to court because im not going to be in the US. i have to be in court jan 8, 2008. My question is what will happen. and what can i do when i get back in june. what can i expect. any advice will be helpful. thanks!
also if i decide to pled guilty how much will the fine be for tailgating and failing to signal lane change(estimate).

I have a 2005 Subaru Outback. The ABS is too sensitive and will trigger going over bumps and snow. I drive other cars with ABS that aren't as sensitive. Changing tires, brakes and brake fluid hasn't helped.
A couple of times, I thought I was going to crash while stopping after hitting a bump in the road. You actually have no brakes for a moment or more. In the winter, unless I press the brakes like there's an egg under my foot, I can slide through a stop sign in the snow.
Anyone else here own a recent Subaru with this issue?
Did you disconnect the ABS?
Please don't respond if you don't own a Subaru.

I bought a car at an auction, i will get the pink slip (according to them) within one month. do i need to wait for the pink slip? if i can sell it without the pink slip, what forms do i need to fill out? i live in california so the information should be for that state. i know i need to go to CA DMV website, but there is too much information, a quick and short answer will be appreciated..thanks

Vehicle has been running well. I keep it well maintained. It suddenly started making a loud siren (ambulance) sound. After a short time it stopped. A few minutes later it started again, quietly, but gets louder with higher RPMs. Can anyone advise? Thanks!

After the car gets warmed up, it starts to lose its idle. 1st thing in the morning it idles great, after I drive it for 10 minutes or so, when I come to a stop light, it will almost die on me. Any suggestions?

i am keeping it in a timber shed but some evenings there is condensation all over the chrome and engine parts on my lovely new bike. The shed is not leaking, its brand new and i am checking the bike every night now even if its not been out. I was hit by a truck that delivers beer and soda to all the mini marts. He hit us from behind and the police gave him a ticket for reckless driving and I have had one sergery and need another. I have been going to phy thpy for almost a year now . This accident ruined my life. It made me start over. I have shoulder and back problems that the doct. dont seem to have any answers for on time i will have no pain and the shoulder will have pain forever the doc said. ok so i have liability insurance with state farm. i was going down a street 75 mph on a 55 zone. two cars were in the elft lanes ahead of me. the 1st car switched over to my lane and i cmae up on him as he did cause he slowed odwn doing it. he also switched with no lbinker. anyways i slammed on breaks and my breaks grinded and i spun out and my car fliped 3 times. since im speeding its obviously my fault. i iddnt get arrested or get a ticket, my car is totaled. my firend tells me that even tho tis my fault the other guys insurance company/mine wil lcover the depreciated vlaue of my car. i find this hard to believe. how does it work

Need new front brakes and my options at AutoZone are: Duralast ($45) and Valucraft ($34). Not sure if it matters, but I'm in stop and go traffic on the way to/from work. Lots of braking! I have a 99 Dodge Durango if that matters.

Also need brakepads, same manufacturers...

Or are there better brands elsewhere? Napa? Murrays?
