2001 civic problem?

When I make turns i hear steady paced clunking/knocking sounds from the area where the rear or front tires are..i cant pinpoint the sound. Any ideas what could cause the problem?

Most likely, your problem is with the CV (constant velocity) axles. Hondas are notorious for CV axle failures because the boots (which hold in the grease) rot out prematurely.
