I broke down and had a mechanic tell me it was my engine that needed to be replaced.. then when i took it to my mechanic he said the guy didnt know what he was talking about and that it was the cam sensor.. So I get the car back yesterday and I'm driving it around and the car feels like its about to stall.. and then the check engine light came on.. UUUURRRRRGGGG.. what could this be?

Hi,
I want to know about the positioning of wings in Aircrafts. In some aircrafts, the wings are placed at the top of fuselage, while in some aircrafts its at the middle and in some aircrafts its at the bottom. Why these different positioning of wings, what difference does each make and which is the best position?

Thanks,
Jayanth.

I just purchased a used 1996 Nissan Sentra from a friend. 130k miles on it, 1.6 liter engine. I've driven several clutches before - a 90 Corolla, my uncle's mustang, and my current 2000 Accord. All of those clutches had a taught clutch- if you pushed it in and out the clutch "followed" your foot and there was a lot of resistance.

In this Sentra, however, it's very soft. It takes hardly any pressure (compared to my previous experiences) to push the clutch in, and it seems slow to return to position once I undepress. The transmission otherwise seems to work fine- no slippage, the only problem was me trying to time the gas with when the gear engaged.

Any thoughts on how to tighten it up? It's a cable based system, so I'm guessing there is a spring somewhere.

I deliver, install and maintain aquariums. I also make pine stands and canopies for them. I have a friend who has been making iron stands for me.
The problem is delivery. A have a Kia Spectra5 station wagon. The Spectra is the same as the Hyundai Elantra, on the large end of compact car or the very small end of mid-sized car.
Larger tanks are 5 or 6' long. Not that I see them often, but there are some 7' long tanks out there.
Getting a 5' tank is a hassle in my car. I like to be out for the day and do 3-4 deliveries. Hard to do this unless they are 3' tanks, like a 38 or 40. More common, like 4' tanks like 55's or the very popular 72 bowfront barely fit two.
I'm thinking Rondo, because it gets nearly as good mileage as my Spectra5. It's thousands less than Mazda 5. It's cheaper than a Chevy HHR or PT Cruiser, which are smaller.
It is an oddball model. How has your experiences with it been? Is it worth spending an extra $2,500 on a Mazda 5? Thanks.

Hello, we are a family travelling by train all over Europe, Australia, China, Cuba, the U.S. and the Philippines.
We found it is quite difficult in the UK:
1 - Steps up to platforms (and HELL on the underground)
2 - Bus connections with no pushchair space (terrible)
3 - Rip off fares (hell, they want a 5 year old to pay!!!)
4 - No buffet cars to warm up our baby food
5 - Rude passengers who don't appreciate children
6 - Rude and abusive passengers
7 - Hell on wheels with no space for our pushchair
8 - No plug sockets to plug in our video Dora movies
9 - Total lack of respect for travelling families in UK
It is unbelievable how bad it is in UK for a family on the publis transport with a pushchair !
Fortunately we get on the boat and straight away, LIKE MAGIC we have it so good !
1 - Loading ramps easy for the pushchair
2 - Massive fare reductions for kids
3 - In France the adults go for half if they have a kid !
4 - Plenty of pushchair space in Europe and on the Ship.
5 - Politeness!

I have an '05 Subaru Forester XT. When I go to stop or slow down and shift from 3 or 4 to 2 my engine stalls. I have taken it to Subaru and they did a 60,000 mile tune up, changed the neutralizing shift, and the air fuel filter (that was the code the car gave the computer). But nothing has worked. Anybody have a subaru that does this or any advise. My car has been in the shop for just about a month now.

I rejetted it recently and fitted a new battery, plugs and a stubby exhaust. It ran fine through the summer until the battery died. I replaced it but has'nt been the same since and has started cutting out at low speed when I change down to first. any ideas?

I'm 39 and not trying to be rude but don't you feel the young generation was conned into thinking Honda's and Mitsubishi's etc. are cool? Those EVO's are the ugliest throw away car's on the road too. And non of them are truly fast or sound good at all.
Why aren't they getting a hint when the muscle car win's at the end of every 'Fast And Furious' movie?
I mean, the day the very first 'Vette, Mustang, Camaro, Chevelle, GTO etc. etc. rolled of the assembly line they were cool car's and instant classics.
Honda Civic's were never cool for like 25 year's and now I'm supposed to be inspired by one??? I would still feel like the biggest dork owning one. I don't get it. All I can figure is this generation wasn't around back then to realize how dorky these 'econoboxes' really are.

I just received a phone call at 11:30 PM from a man stating he was from some investigation. He said I would have to surrender my car tonight or he would issue a warrant for my arrest and the car. Now, this car was repossessed before but It was alot different. They sent a letter saying it was going to be repo'd soon this time they didnt even send me a bill? I also have a 14 day grace period with my loan and its not up yet I have 6 more days till it comes. They are saying I owe 900$ in order to clear it. Im just confused. He never stated he was from a repo company jus that it was an invesigation. Also, my boyfriend has my car out of state and im nervous with him driving it. They said they wouldnt do anything until this coming Friday but all of it sounds too weird. If anyone knows anything about what they are doing here or if they even can do anything. Id love some help. I live in Massachusetts. So if you know about those laws Id be greatful. Thanks!

Hi - we recently had new brake pads put in our 99 mazda miata since they were totally worn out. Now whenever we brake there is a grinding/wooshing sound that the car makes and it has me worried. We went back to the mechanic and they claim that there is nothing wrong with the car. We spent quite a bit of money getting it done and feel concerned that we are being ripped off. Any advice please? Thanks!
