Have driven one of these for the last 2 years - a great car- economical and lots of room in the front (as much as my old E class Merc) - never goes wrong and dead easy to find a parking space for a small car !

Why would anyone want a smaller car? Death trap? Doesn't matter what safety rating that it has if you get hit by something much bigger you're dead! The Yaris is ugly, The Corrola is ugly and is built way too light if there's any wind on the highway you're going back and forth. Stay away from Toyotas! Here's a list of cars that are a lot better Sentra, Focus, Mazda 3, Cobalt,etc.............. Toyotas are crapy by the way!

The yaris is a good vehicle. Thankgod that it replaced the Toyota Echo. Toyota is a reliable company. I'm not trying to diss but don't buy american made cars because they're not simply as good as imports. Read this link first and then make your decision

Not impress with it. Is an ok car if you want some cheap and to drive in and around the city. I had a 95 Geo Metro with a 3Cyl engine once. It rode ok and gave me 35 MPG on the hwy at 95 MPH (that is right 95 MPH!). Anyway, the body was too light and rode badly on the Hwy. But was great on the city drive. I called it a pocket car. I will not buy one. I would get some a bit above that and be happier. If this is going to be a 2nd car, great! If not, I would not recommend as a primary vehicle.

It's actually a neat little car. Should last just as long as any corolla, and could anyone really complain about the price? good luck!

It's a Toyota so it's bound to be super reliable.. although one went into the back of my son's 1997 Micra (also super reliable) and came off a lot worse.

I've had one for 6 years from new in the UK. Only changed the tyres, no faults at all.
Does well in UK JD Power reliabilty surveys. Low running costs, good fuel economy.

Toyota Yarus, Honda Fit, Scion Xa, and Nissan Micra all look like they designed by/for Cartoon caracters. Please Just look at the Nissan Versa sedan and hatchback. It gets great gas milage and feature for feature I think you will like it best. Like people won't be embarased to ride with you to lunch. And do the four people test turn on the A/C and accelerate onto the freeway with each micro car. Small cars need power too.

It's got a wheel on each corner and you can drive it down the shops. It's economical and cheap to insure but the parts are expensive. If you want something for bombing down the motorway, think again.
