I have a 2000 dodge intrepid that I bought in 2001 and never had this problem since a couple of days ago. When I put on either the left or right blinker it starts to blink but then will stop for no reason and sometimes goes back on and sometimes just stays off. It looks like all of the lights are working and I checked the fuse for the blinkers. Any ideas? Could it still be the bulbs even though they are all working? any ideas would be greatly appeciated

Its a restored 66 el camino with a 383 it was an automatic but was converted to standard. I let one of my friends drive it yesterday and the problem started when they got down the street and tried to put it into 2nd gear. It will start and rev and all that but it won't move at all and just stalls when I try to catch first gear. Its a 4 speed (H) with reverse on the left and the shifer will not move left to go into reverse anymore. There were fluids on the ground. My dad said not to let any boys drive it and I have to fix it before he finds out!

My car was stolen 4 weeks ago. I am trying to claim my insurance, although with great difficulty due to their lack of communication and minformation that they keep giving me.

My car was recovered, but they are going to write it off, but my V5 was in the car - I told the insurance co this 3 weeks ago, and was told to send them a cover note, and this would probably be enough. 3 weeks later - I have still been waiting to hear from them, and have been told that I need to obtain a copy of my V5 or a letter from the DVLA on headed paper to confirm that I was the registered keeper.

The DVLA said that they are unable to provide a letter for me, and to obtain an additional V5 it will cost me a further £25, even though it wasn't my fault it was stolen, and I no longer have the vehicle. My insurance co will not re-imburse this money, so it is leaving me even further out of pocket.

I was then told that I would be able to get a Microfiche of the original V5 free of charge from the DVLA

It use to happen that whenever i drive on a rough road or take a sharp turn the D4 light starts blinking. After several checks the company diagnosed that the engine harness is to be replaced.
My question is that, will this solve my problem or what is the other way out.

What if he says he will not paint the back bumper? How would I take this? Also if it does go well I have to wait 2 days for it to get fixed. I will need a car in the mean time, would they supply me with a temp one? If they dont then what should I do? Thanks in advance!!!

My car was rear ended , and the repair work done is REAL BAD!?
About 4 weeks ago my car was rear ended at a red light traffic stop.
It was being repaired for 3 weeks and i was unable to obtain a hire car for the duration as I'm under 25 and was informed that hire company's do not provide insurance to under 25's.

Today i received my car from the place where it was being repaired and found that the work is really unacceptable. There are huge gaps between the joints of the bumper and rear lights , they didn't replace damaged mud flaps which were cracked from the rear bumper being squashed into them , there are wire clips missing , there are paint leaks where the paint has leaked and dried , there are grease stains everywhere on the upholstery and I'm yet to have a look at the under body which i will do tomorrow.

what can i do ? is a payout an option as I'm really HATING to have no car again if they are going to have to make corrections again

please help thanks in advance everyone!

Can someone please explain to me the difference betwen 1.6, 8V and 16V engines? and its affect on performance of the car.

I have just passed my test and so am looking for my first car. There is a difference of about £ 250 in insurance quotes that i get for 8V and 16V engine cars. So i want to weigh up my options and decide?

Cheers

On Tuesday afternoon, I saw a large aeroplane decending to land at East Midlands Airport. It had a large disc attached over the middle of it. It was larger and louder than a regular commercial plane. Does anyone know what type of aircraft this was?

The Cessnas include a family of three trainers, the 140, 150 and 152. The Pipers start with the Cherokee 140 and later the Tomahawk.

I have my favorite. Which is yours and why?

How exactly do you remove an oil level gauge on a kawasaki er5 so it can be cleaned and what is the best way to put it back?

I've been riding motorbikes for a short while now, after driving for about 7 years, and from day one, the first time I stepped onto a motorbike, I've had grief from terrible car driving.

The very first day, I, and others in my group had drivers tailing literally just a few feet from our bikes, and I know in my case it was intentional as the idiot child was grinning and refused to back off all the way down one road, then swerved dangerously close right into my lane as she came past on a short dual carriageway!

Since then I've had to deal with people cutting me off while filtering (WHICH IS PERFECTLY LEGAL), try to interrogate me about using parking spaces to park my bike (EH?) and a general lack of awareness on the road. No indicating to change lanes, on roundabouts, and today I had some woman actually cut me up on a roundabout (serves me right for driving safely and at reasonable speeds). Again I know this was intentional from the big satisfied grin of the idiots face.

WHY?

I stopped at a yield sign in order to yield to another vehicle. I was then hit from behind. The man claimed he could not find his insurance information but did write down all of his correct personal information, liscense and plate numbers. He contacted me and said his insurance is no longer valid but that he is willing to pay for damages. Do I still need to report damage to my insurance company? Should I get a lawyer? There was no police report filed. please any advice is appreciated.

As soon as i turned the head lights on the car died. Got another jump and it stayed on but i had no headlights. got home put the car in park then i had lights. Turned the car off now it won't start sometimes it clicks and sometimes it does nothing when i try to start it... what's wrong?

If the black on the face of my radio and on the edges of a couple of the buttons is wearing off already,is that something that would be covered under warranty? (it's one of the radios that has XM built in,if that matters at all...?)

Hi, we have had a Nissan Sentra 92' E for almost 16 years now. I'm 15, and I really love this car; we've had it since I was born. I want to drive this car when I'm of age (a couple more years), but the problem is that it has 235, 000 KM on it, and it's almost 16 years old. So, pretty soon, I'm sure it'll stop working. Anyway, I was wondering, when I have enough money saved up, can I buy a new engine and have it put in this car? If so, which engine(s) are capable of being put in this car? How much would it cost for the engine and the installation?
