Don't know where you are but in UK the situation is this.
If you filed a police report before the ticket was issued in relation to the taking of the car then the ticket will be cancelled. Otherwise the registered keeper is responsible for payment.

Your car your ticket. Unless you can prove the car was parked illegally by someone willing to pay the parking fine. City does not care who pays the fine. The city will clamp the denver boot on and charge you even more.

Unfortunately, since the car is registered in your name, the easiest thing to do is for you to pay it and hope to get the fine out of the actual driver at a later time. That sucks!

study the value ticket intently, statutory government like councils concern a "Penalty cost observe" which must be paid (yet could nicely be appealed on countless grounds) inner maximum companies attempt to make their tickets seem as though a PCN yet can purely be a settlement cost study the link for added information. do not park there back or you threat being clamped and there is not any (lifelike) escape from that.

parking tickets are the responsibility of the registered owner, then it is up to you to collect from the person that got it.

I have no idea how reliable you are but if you're the registered owner you're liable for the ticket.
