What can he do. The next garage found broken motor mounts and the bake rotors was turned way below specs, by first garage. Only 700 miles later. He was ripped by the first garage. Now what can he do? Thanks P.S. The first garage did some other minor repair work...but no engine or transmissino work.

I have seen the Mobile EP products that claim they can last up to 5,000, 7,000, and even 15,000 miles. Is it really recommended to wait that long for an oil change, even if Mobil says its okay. I know Mobil is a good company makes high-quality oils, but I doubt that these products can last that long without an oil change at a sooner interval.

I was recently involved in a minor fender bender - the guy in front of me stopped suddenly and I slid right into him when I put on my brakes (ice on the road). I understand that my coverage will cover the person's car I ran into, but what about my car? I realize than plans range considerably, but I'm looking for what happens generally in this situation.

Thanks

My mom's old car is just about worn out, its a Cadillac Catera we bought used. Great car, but the parts are just too expensive. She wants a car that's small and comfortable, but kind of sporty. She doesn't like to drive, so she wants it to be as easy as possible. We've had good luck picking cars that are almost new, but were returned to the dealer with 700-6000 miles on em. I'd like a price range from about 23-30k or so. Right now we're looking at Grand Prix GXPs and Impala SS and such, but nothing really... pops... for her. Any ideas? Thanks, in advance.

I recently bought a used 1963 Allis Chalmers D17 series 3 tractor. It has a FEL. When I raise the bucket, it slowly comes down at the rate of about 1" per minute. It also doesn't seem to have enough lifting power as I expected it to have for a 54 HP tractor. It's probably safe to say that there is some sort of internal leak somewhere. How do I determine where the leak is? It could be in both the cylinders, control valve, or perhaps it could be in the pump.

Once I determine the source of the leak, what should my next step be? Can the cylinders, control valve or pump be repaired/rebuilt, or should they be replaced?

I got an estimate from the local Subaru dealership.... $3120.00. We didn't pay much more than that for the car! Anyone know how to fix this (or know any alternatives) or would you suggest pushing it off a cliff?

To be more specific, I'm transferring the title to my wife. Would it be considered a family transfer? The insurance for a corporate car is getting too expensive.

I'm in California. Also, would I have to pay a use tax?

After I got out, it was harder to turn the wheel. I thought it was just a bunch of snow in the wheel well. It had a lot of snow, so I cleared it all out, but It's still hard to turn.

What did I do?

When I renew my registration, I go to AAA for faster service, but, the clerk gave me the sticker almost with her eyes closed, meaning it didn't look like she checked my record, does anyone know how they work for sure?
I need to know because this year I'm very late with renewing my tags/registration, I'm paying it tomorrow though.
Thanks!!
