When I renew my registration, I go to AAA for faster service, but, the clerk gave me the sticker almost with her eyes closed, meaning it didn't look like she checked my record, does anyone know how they work for sure?
I need to know because this year I'm very late with renewing my tags/registration, I'm paying it tomorrow though.
Thanks!!

Yes AAA is directly connected to the DMV. Just like some people are connected to the post office.

No, AAA is an independent company and the DMV is run by the Government. The AAA office you are going to is contracted out to re-new tags, registration etc.
