Without getting to tech.
Cons first what i have found after owning an R32 and an R33 Spec 2.Parts are expensive, although most people will say hard to get hold of,rubbish i have never had trouble getting a part, even Nissan still stock them . Drinks alot of petrol but its going to if it didnt it would be a diesel.Wife cries everytime it needs new parts or needs filling up.R33 is heavier to drive but feels faster than the R32.You have to keep it clean as it gets lots of lucks and people winge when its dirty, careful adding bodykits spoilers etc as hardcore fans give you grief if they dont like the new look.
Pros Great looking cars throught the range choice of non turbo single turbo and twin turbo single and twin cam with RWD and AWD models to suits needs and budgets.
Large rear seat area enough to use cars as a family car, people whom say there is now back room must own a bus.Regular service needed.Lots of cleaning and wax cost.
Great tuning engine able to reach 500bhp area with stock internals and the choice to go further and the engine can take it.Non turbos are great fun also and have a good BHp and can be made faster.
Head turning crowd pulling looks from all ages and often gets its photo taken.
Gives you a smile everytime you sit in it.
Engine sounds great. Great car that you feel no real need to change as it offers everything you need, speed tuning looks cred and able to scare 300k cars as you can reach there power evn if you havent they dont know that.

The Skyline is a legendary whip. Great car in many ways, though as the years pass its harder to get a hold of one, usually young sports-minded males buy them and Mod them out and keep them. Finding one will only get harder. The Skyline is now sold as the 'INFINITI G-35' in many countries. (Nissan = Infiniti) .
More Into Detail Pros & Cons Vary by the year of the car.
Hope that helped

If you have dreams of owning a skyline I'll be the reality check and say it's not going to happen.
Pros:
-Massiver power potential in the RB's
-AWD + Power = Very fast acceleration
-Huge aftermarket and following
-All the tuner girls will jump on your nuts if you own one
-Great track cars
Cons:
-RHD, assuming you live in America that is a pain in the ***.
-$$$$, they are extremely expensive to have them imported in to the us. Call motorex if you want information on how to legalize one and how much it will cost.
-Takes around 6-8 months to make it street legal if you manage to get one imported
If you have dreams of owning a skyline, just buy a 240sx and swap in the RB25DETT. You can still brag about having a skyline engine, but it's in a 2700lbs (rwd) car that cost you a fraction of what a street-legal Skyline in the US would.

where do you live? they only come in right-hand drive and are rediculously expensive to import if you live in North America. They do really well when treated right (which it will take a lot to push past), they have a good AWD system if you are thinking of the GT-R Skyline, which has a RB26DETT("race bred" 2.6 liter, dual overhead cam, twin turbo, AWD transmission). GT-S and under have an RB25DET in the R33 and up which is a single turbo RWD driveline.

its all merchandising. i recommend in the event that they bought the g35 as a nissan interior the states it would for sure value much less so as that they made it an infiniti to make some greater money. yet a g35 is a skyline easily, different than for the suitable handchronic same each thing.

If you're talking about the Skyline GT-R (R32, R33 and R34 models)
Pros: explosive acceleration with no modifications, very tuneable engine (600HP with bolt-on modifications, 1000HP+ with forged internals), All-wheel drive
Cons: Right-hand drive only, expensive to import into the USA, very heavy (3660lbs), can't drift it unless you're REALLY (and I mean REALLY) good, R32 models understeer really bad

I had one and the engine exploded!!!! No wait, that was the Sylvia... the Skylines are nice, though the vent on the left hand side (passenger side where they are legal) always seem to break... odd, I know.

i cant think of any cons, other than they are only right hand drive and i cant import one!!! other than that, its got AWD so its basically a rocket off the line, and plus, how awesome would it be to say "yeah i drive a skyline"
