I hjave a BMW 335 and wondered if there is any real benefit to using Super Unleaded (98) rather than normal 95.

I have read that it only really helps high performance cars (Astons, Ferraris etc) and that there's no benefit to normal engines at all.

But, I wonder where the line is that it starts giving higher performance as my car is pretty fast (5.6s 0-60), but I don't want to pay an extra £5 per tank for no/negligable benefit.

The trip computer doesn't give any reason for it and the power often comes back when I re-start the engine. Can anyone help me to understand and fix this problem.

i'm pretty sure they do, but why can't we just make all the jobs selling those makes of cars, like let honda buy out ford and take over their operations, let nissan buy out gmc.....i own a honda now and it's lasting way longer than any american car i've ever owned (pontiac, dodge, chevrolet, ford)

I find it odd that the clerks at the subway station have no idea when a train is coming. I work graveyard shifts and after 8pm, trains can take sometimes 15 to 25 minutes to get to a station. If I had a rough idea of whether I just missed one and would have to then wait another 20 or so minutes, it would help me greatly as I would simply take a cab. Any advice would greatly help my daily commutes. Thanks

Both were developed around the same time, in the middle 1950's and both sought to dominate early jet airliner services.

Boeing sold a lot of 707s of various models, and they served all over the world. Military versions included the KC-135 tanker, still in service a half century after it first was delivered.

The elegant DC-8 arrived with curtains in the windows and a layout reminiscent of the magnificent DC-7 prop airliners that preceded it. Beautiful, comfortable, many airlines immediately put them in service as their first jets. Later McDonnell-Douglas stretched them and sold them as the Super DC-8, which became an early predecessor of the jumbo jets. Many in all versions remain in freight service today along with a few still in passenger service.

Some of us have traveled long distances in both types. Which was the better airliner? Did the 707 deserve to dominate the industry? Did the DC-8 deserve to be manufactured in greater numbers?

Cold, but no weather to speak of, started ok, radio and heater working,1995 Isuzu rodeo,145,000 miles. the wipers went on once, and stopped. I heard the motor trying to work, and stopped X3 to get them moving, but no joy, before tonight, the wipers working fine (not slow, or any delay), of course tonight wx <30, snow and freezing rain earlier (wipers worked ok then) anything I can do before I take it to the shop?

I noticed on the passenger door there is a entry button. I didn't want to appear dumb to the sales agent. So question. When I walked up to drivers door with the keyless remote. I was able to push the button and door unlocked. If I'm leaving work/shopping or the club. Can a stranger push the button if I'm in the car to open the doors since I have the remote with me?
