The trip computer doesn't give any reason for it and the power often comes back when I re-start the engine. Can anyone help me to understand and fix this problem.

Fix it by buying a Puegoet

Must be a problem with the ECU or the MAF sensor. The only option really is to take it to an Alfa garage or specialist. Have a look on the Alfa Owners website, they may be able to offer some clues.

You may have a Throttle control failure. so get the trouble code and get back to us. You may have to read the code at the diagnostic data connector under the dashboard.

Sell it. Alfas are all show and no reliability. Pity.
