The Audi quality is better than the BMW, read all your motoring press.In the performance/handling stakes, the BMW will shade it .That leaves the image, again BMW will just about shade it, but depends which model your talking about. With BMW image goes all the Bull**** and machoism, depends whether you want that or can handle it.The other thing, and this is from a qualified source, during the last three years, both Merc and BMW have lost sales big time to AUDI in the UK, so they guys from AUDI are doing something right !!!!

Audi all the way it has better stearing, an AWD system which is unmatched in performance, not overrated like BMW, an Audi is Luxury and Sports performance put together in every car, Audi's have a racing heritage througout the world, both Audi and BMW are German but Audi is more unique and distinctive.

The Audi has better build quality than the BMW the road holding is a little better in BMW.Having worked on both types for many years the Audi is the more reliable of the two.It is also better looking recent BMW's look like they were designed by a committee.The I drive has been a disaster for BMW since its introduction the Audi system is much better.

For the information of Frannie Fannie those that make rude comments about BMW and Audi drivers also have a stigma attached they are called Pedestrians.

Audi is by far a better option these days BMW have lost the plot with their build quality.

Audi wins!!! Front drive and all-wheel drive are infinitely better than rear wheel drive in nearly all road conditions. You will never find an Audi with rust, unless it was in an accident and not repaired correctly. You will never see an Audi with cracks in the dashboard or wood trim that cracks as it ages. The sound systems in Audi's are usually Bose adn are better for your hearing. Most Audi's are available with a darn near forever powertrain warranty if you just follow their maintenance schedule. If you check with NHTSA (nitsa, the governmental crash test agency) you will see that hardly anything ever beats an Audi in a crash test since 1980!!!! Either car is a keeper, but Audi has an edge in nearly all areas, and a good used one is the best bargain of all!!! Their four-wheel drive units are made in America!!!!And the A8 is made from Alcoa aluminum.

i have both a Audi rs6 and a BMW m5 both are great the m5 has a comfortable feel were the Audi has a great sport drive when going on rinding roads so it depends on were you live. i prefer the rs4 but just because so the power and the sound plus all the extras i have but the BMW is still great however if you get a m5 get the top model !!!! it will set you back a bit in the wallet but it's great fun!

Bmw's are nice rides. I think their interior is very bland and boring. Handling is great and the looks are always enticing.
Audi I feel has a look all to its self. Sleek, aggressive and the interior is second to none in class and style. I have a A3 so im a little biased but before I bought I looked at both and for the money and looks I chose audi , very happy had it 14 months no problems so far.

Both are good but BMW drivers have a reputation and are treated with some agression by other road users. Audi ownership decalres quality but reserved and you don`t have the same problems. i have owned Audis for the last 13 yaers and they are my car of choice for quality motoring. Get a diesel, I have an A4 2.0 Tdi and get >50 to the gallon on runs now.

I don't really know what the differences are but I am going to go with Audi. People with BMW's drive way to fast I constantly see them going like 90 on the highway and like 40 in the neighborhood I babysit in. Plus I had a dream last night about an Audi it was crazy since I am not postive I know what one looks like.

5 years ago I would have said BMW. I have always owned BMW's. I bought a 2005 5 series and absolutely hated it. The styling I figured would grow on me- but every time I saw a Subaru WRX it reminded me of the 5. I traded it in for an Audi A6 and have never looked back. Good luck!
