I want a loan for a lifted truck. The truck has 178k on the whole car and 60k on a new engine. KBB is $5400 when i put 178k in the milage section and its $6900 when i put 60k on the engine.The truck is listed $6900 and the lowest they will go is 6500. The truck is in good cond. runs good. and has a 4" lift w/ 3" body and 36" tires. A credit union will only loan you the amount the car is listed on kbb, does anyone know if they will accept the kbb price that has 60k on the engine???? or will they go with the amount of miles that are on the car itself?? Also, i know its hard without pics but do you think this is a legit price?

I was driving through a construction zone when all of a sudden I heard an awful knocking noise and my car starting pulling to the right. It felt and sounded like a flat tire. I pulled over and everything seemed fine, so I starting driving again. About a mile later, the same thing happened, but worse. And there was smoke coming from my wheel-well. The car runs fine, and the gauges are fine, but it's almost like the tire doesn't want to move. Does anybody have ANY idea what this could be?

Stock sized tires,Bosch 2 point plugs, new spark plug leads ( top shelf not cheap ones), Ams oil in engine,clean stock air filter and intake. 140,000 miles. Currently 22 / 18 MPG.
Is there anyone out there with the same truck who has truely gotten better MPG with a cold air intake and a cat back over sized exhust? Thinking of doing that and maybe change out the twin coils.
I don't need any remarks from 2 pointers. Thank you! Just those who have really done it and can offer up some real information please.

So my Brother gave me his car that he screwed up when he bought a new one! I fixed his old car got it running and Paid off the remaining 2000 dollars on the loan now I'm trying to move out of state and he wont sign the title over to me! I don't want him to report his car stolen the first time he gets pissed off at me and I don't really have any proof that I paid him so what do I do how do I get the title in my name?

A buddy of mine mentioned to me that he had heard the new Chevy Malibu was going to have a rear view drive option. I told him I was pretty sure it wasnt going to.

Is it or is it not going to be offered w/ a RWD option?

I have a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS (4 cyl.) with 80,000 miles on it. I just bought it a week ago and noticed a tapping noise the other day, since then it's gotten worse, so, I checked the oil yesterday and was 2 quarts low. I added a quart and then got an oil change today because the tapping was worse. Even though I got the oil changed, it still is tapping. It taps for a while when it's cold, and when I rev it it gets faster, stops and then when I let off it continues. Once I've drove it and it's in idle, it has stopped and doesn't start again until it has been turned off and has been sitting and I restart the motor.
The noise sounds like it's coming from down behind the valve cover.
Does anyone have any ideas on what it is and how to fix it? I read different things online and am not sure which to believe. Thanks.

What can be the problem? I do a lot of work on it myself, and the last thing I did was change out the spark plugs and add some engine treatment with the oil change. Any help before I take it into a shop and get ripped off??
BTW it does it in ALL gears. Actually it started shaking after I got new batteries and new + - extension wires for the battery..

It has a 3.3 L engine, V6, front wheel drive, 173,000 miles. I just had a new accumulator, new battery and 2 new rear wheel cylinders installed also. It is an ES or LS (I don't have the paper in front of me right now). I just would like to know some possible scenarios that could be wrong with my van.

im getting some 12cvr kicker subs and a 06ZX750.1 kicker amp and i dont know if i should get the 4 ohm subs or the 2 ohm i dont understand ohms but the amp says it gets 750 watts rms with 2 ohms i think and less with 4. what do i do?

I'm sure this is a common problem for people who dock their boat in salt water, and it's very frustrating!
My speedometer on my boat uses a typical Pitot on the bottom of the transom, that measures water speed by sending pressure through the small tube to the speedometer guage. It rarely works once the boat has been in the water for a while, due to barnacle growth and other marine sludge.
I want to know if I have any other options in a speedometer setting. (I already have a GPS that also gives speed, but I want my guage to work too, plus I don't always use my GPS - I don't really need it for where I go).
Why don't they sell a Pitot that resists barnacle growth, and other sludge? I've even tried painting it with antifouling paint in previous years, and that didn't work either. I've used new Pitots over and over with no luck every year, they fail. There's got to be a better system for a Guage Speedometer!

OK! I just left CarMax! I have an 05 Pathfinder with 72,000 miles and still owe $16,000. CarMax is going to give me $11,000 for my car. Do I trade and take the $400.00 car payment. I currently pay $472.00 a month. I do not know what to do! If I take the car it is an 03 infiniti with 98,000 miles and the cost is $15,000. It really doesnt sound like a deal but the lower my payments the better. I cannot afford the car that I have now so I need to make a decision quick! BUT WHAT?

I was entering on a highway that was moving very slowly due to congestion. There was an open space that was about three car lengths in size.

I check my blind spot and merged into traffic when the guy behind me sped to block me out. I swerved to the right, but we still made contact.

Who would be at fault? I can understand if I just merged into him without looking, but the guy sped up to block me. Wouldnt he be atleast somewhat negligent for the accident?

Turn signals rarely work. No rhyme or reason as to when they will/won't work. Tried looking for a faulty ground in trailer connection unit (draw-tite system) with no success. Replaced the flasher units, checked all bulbs, still nothing.
Everything else fine, except had a brake light go out and replaced that. Any suggestion are appreciated.

I was in an accident, and I pushed the frame 3 inches to the left. But by using some know-how, me and my neighbor got the frame less than an inch off. Right now, the driver side part of the frame is just pushed to the left, and the passenger's is too, but it's also pushed up. I don't want to spend all the money to have it straightened at a shop, so is there a way I can do it myself? If you have experience...please help me! And be serious!
