IT DIFFERS FROM STATE TO STATE BUT IT IS BEST TO CONTACT YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY.

I WILL TELL YOU THAT IN MANY STATES IF A CAR IS BURNED AND SOMETIMES STOLEN, THE INSURANCE COMPANY CAN AND WILL MAKE YOU TAKE A LIE DETECTOR TEST AND IT WILL HOLD UP IF YOU FAIL.

THE REASON FOR THIS IS BECAUSE MANY PEOPLE ARE IN TROUBLE WITH CAR LOANS AND THEY ARE DOING THIS TO GET OUT OF IT AND THE INSURANCE COMPANIES HAVE CAUGHT ON.

It varies from state to state. In my state if your care is parked legally and is hit you are not charge with the accident. If the car is illegally parked you are. If your car is stolen or burned you won't be charged. However, if you live in a neighborhood where this is a common occurrence you already pay higher premiums than those who don't.
