Talk to your Trucking Co., ask them who does truck financing in your area. OR go ask at the truck dealership nearest where you live. OR call the Owner Operators Independant Drivers Association, more commonly known as OOIDA, in Grain Valley,MO. 1-800-444-5791

try a bank.. no loan place your interest will be to high.. the problem with a owner operator is most of the time depending on the price and your down payment.. is you will have high payments.. some owners i know pay 1.500 a month or even 3000 a month because banks want a short term loan.. and the insurance will kill you if the company doest cover it.. and then you have the cost of fuel and repairs.. tires are about 1000 a piece.. we have a tractor sitting in owner back yard.. but there is no payments on it and we own it .. but its older.. its kinda like a big lawn ornament.. because of the cost of running it.. but in your case i guess if you make a comitment like a marrage you can be sucsessful.. i hope you got a good credit rating!

How about the same finance company or bank that is leasing the truck to you? Most finance companies or banks that provide leases also do loans. If not, the lease company can tell you where you can get a loan.

When the lease is three quarters up to date ask for an appointment and tell manager or salesman what you want to do and thats to buy the truck see what happens .Otherwise you have to wait till end of lease and purchase it then....

If you don't have a long term relationship with a bank or two, you are long overdue to start one. Banks that know you as a regular long term customer are far more likely to work with you to ensure you get a reasonable fair deal. Most post their rates and I've found if I call two or three banks and ask one to match another offer they can be made to drop an extra quarter percent sometimes if you ask nicely.

Go to a specialist loan office that handles OO ( Owner/Operator ) accounts...

The company that leases may be able to help you set this up, or you can look independently....

Lenders are in the business of making money, not repressing women. If they assess that you have the ability and the willingness to repay they loan they will lend you the money--without regard to gender.
