Yes,

It is normal for that type of test for any Commercial Trucker or even a local Driver.

The type of test they usually perform is called a 5 panel test it tests for, marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine, opiates, pills.

They also use a 7 panel test w alcohol. test for the same as above but it also tests for hallucinogens, barbiturates and alcohol.

These are standard tests the the DOT requires for all truck drivers! its parts of the CFR Part 40.
Also depending on what lab they use for the test (LabCorp,Pamil,Quest ect) dont take any over the counter urine cleaning agents, they test for those now. And if found in the Urine it makes it an automatic Failed Test. Result NO JOB
I used to work for a Drug Testing Collection and reporting agency!

Good Luck
I hope this helps

A scientific examiner. A slaughterhouse is somewhat no longer that plenty different from being a meat packer considering the fact that each and every thing is done by way of equipment these days. A scientific examiner could be badass however.

I assume you have a Class A CDL (possibly with Hazmat certification). They are testing for drug usage. You will also be tested for high blood pressure which can stop you from driving. This happened to my BIL.

Yes, I had to take a DOT physical for a job in the past. What do you think they are looking for? They are checking for illegal drugs.

When you go to the lab they're required to disclose what they're testing for... My guess would be that they're testing for illegal drugs. Information on how long various drugs stay in your system can be found below...
