It has a 3.3 L engine, V6, front wheel drive, 173,000 miles. I just had a new accumulator, new battery and 2 new rear wheel cylinders installed also. It is an ES or LS (I don't have the paper in front of me right now). I just would like to know some possible scenarios that could be wrong with my van.

right now with that kind of mileage on it anything could happen to it,the most likely thing you,ll be doing to it real soon will be replacing a timing chain and gears in it,those usually lasted about 150 k,and at that mileage you can expect to have to do some work on it,its an average vehicle maintenance will be more on it as the mileage goes up keep that in mind, good luck with it.

Mr. Smartypants is full of crap and isn't afraid to show it. I have a '90 like yours, the tranny pooped out at something like 175,000 miles. I replaced it with a used one but it's not running right now. Engine has never been worked on and has 265,000 miles with a rod knocking, I think my 16 year old son driving it could have had a little to with that. It would probably still be running had I not given it to him.

only the obvious, it is junk, it's a dodge--buy a real vehicle a FORD the best thing you could do for this sorry excuse for an automobile is take it behind the barn and shoot the s.o.b. walk away and never look back. good luck
