My 97 gsxr 600 srad loses power and stalls when i change down to first at low speed.?

Question

I rejetted it recently and fitted a new battery, plugs and a stubby exhaust. It ran fine through the summer until the battery died. I replaced it but has'nt been the same since and has started cutting out at low speed when I change down to first. any ideas?

Strong possibility you have a charging problem.
Any idea why the battery died in the first place?

It's common for low voltage to create ignition problems.
