I'm after a specific car but the only ones I can find that are within my budget tend to be on ebay, and far away from where I live.
As such, viewing them would probably mean at least a 400 mile round trip, then the same again if I won.
Would you just take a chance if the photo's looked ok, description states cars is good, seller had lots of positive feedback, and the value was, say, £5000, and bid without viewing?

I own a 2005 Honda Accord EX V6 coupe with the 6 speed manual tranny. It currently has 108K miles on it. It has run smoothly the entire time and has never had a problem. Items have been serviced and or replaced when scheduled, and that is it.
Recently, within the last few days, I have noticed that when I turn my car, usually only on sharp, low speed turns, there is a knocking sound coming from the back. It does not happen all the time, and may happen more when it is cold out, I'm not sure yet. Besides that I cannot explain it anymore, besides that it does not happen when I go over bumps or ruts in the road, only when turning (so far). A friend was riding in the car and heard it and said it sounded like a strut mount, or something else to do with the strut or the rear suspension, is that the most likely cause? I am bringing it to my mechanic on Monday, but was just curious in the meantime.
Thank you all who answer

I found this gem online. A 2006 Mercedes Benz CLS500 with 21000miles for over $20000 off Kelly Blue Book. I already talked to an employee of the Salvage Yard. They said the car has a clean title and has no noticable damage (other than a small scratch on the rear fender). It runs and drives and looks stellar. I am just a little hesitant towards buying a car that was once stolen. http://www.casmiami.com/inventory/displaycar_7151.html

I have 2005 Chrysler Pacifica, that came with the Remote Start installed. Recently the batteries went dead so i replaced them and the start works but you have to be like a foot away pointing it at the car.

Any ideas why it doesn't work... Do i need to reset the remote?

Thanks!

I am re-asking this because no one just answered this question; I do not have a hard top and am not that worried about it "damaging the paint"...my question was should I take the antenna off, will it be ok if I don't? (The car washes I use are no brushes-safer)

can any of you car experts out there give me a recommendation on what car I should get? Looking to buy a sporty car with great performance. I have up to 8 or $9000 to spend so it would need to be used. heres the criteria I would like to meet:

Manual transmission
V6 or V8
300 hp or higher
3.0 engine or higher
preferably coupe or hatchback (not as important)
RWD

(turbo would be a bonus)

thanks!

ok, how do they do that? run on 4 cylinders until the extra power is needed then it runs on 8? seems to me that in 4 cyl mode, the re,maining 4 would become a drag on the system. any thoughts?

I have driven a Kia Picanto through a flooded road. The water came over the bonnet as I drove through the flooded area. The car seems to be working fine, the electrics are all OK and the brakes are OK - but I can hear water sloshing around when I drive the car. Where is the water likely to be and does it matter if the car is working OK ?
