When you flushed the radiator did you also backflush the system? If not then your heater core is probably clogged. Try flushing your radiator again and don't forget to backflush it. While you are doing this check for leaks in your upper and lower radiator hose. If you find a leak replace the hose and clamps. Also I would go ahead and replace the thermostat just to be safe.
If you don't need to replace the radiator hoses then the total project should cost around $40 dollars. This price includes 2 gallons of Prestone 50-50 Pre-diluted Antifreeze and your thermostat.

What does the temperature Gage say. If it's normal you could have an air lock in the heater coil. If not change the thermostat

Check for heater control valve located in outlet lines check for hoses connected to heater core and last check for plugged heater core.

it sound like themostat poblem make they didn't replace it/ take off top hose stick finger in hole should feel it! or shine a light in you should a metal reflection..
