Runflats are safer than regular tyres because they allow you to remain in control of the car when one tyre suddenly loses pressure unexpectedly (say, in a curve at 50mph).
If you are unhappy by the fact that you could have carried on driving had this vibration not happened, and could have been driving on regular tyres for the life of the tyres, and could, by slim chance, encounter the situations above; then it may be arguable that you paid for the safety, and should the unfortunate happen, it wasn't there when you needed it.
If you really feel so strongly about it, I would instead see if the dealer can work something out with you, if not, write to BMW UK (if you're from the UK). I would not go as far as taking legal action.

Run flat repairs are possible however, the BMW engineers don't recommend it because it affects the overall integrity of the tire. Or, as you blokes spell it, tyre! For local and minimal highway driving it's fine. They look at as if all of us will be driving 125mph+ and for that I would not want to be driving on a repaired run flat tire either.....

What is this??!! National moron day?? First off, they took care of the problem promply and at no charge. Second, if you can't identify the equipment on your car, you are just as much at blame as your dealership. Know what you are buying, and inspect it before you take delivery. Next, you weren't hurt, nor could you be hurt by this mistake. If you did encounter a flat, BMW's roadside would come and take care of it. Once again, at no charge. And finally, quit looking for a handout. Buyer beware ALWAYS is in effect. I would never take delivery of a $50k-60k car without looking over everything first. If I opted for run flats, I would make sure they were on the car. Would you buy a home without looking at it?
So in summary, you are a money grubbing idiot. Your 'legal action' would probably result in your lawyer laughing at you...(if you even have a lawyer on retainer)...or the judge (magistrate or whatever you letter 'y' substituting for 'i' people call them) getting pissed for wasting the court's time.
So to answer your question: "anyone out there can help me"....I can. Stop whining and stop trying to get something for nothing.

You could only be in the US, No where else in the world would anyone find such a petty issue to whine about, I bet it was second hand and the previous owner replaced the run-flats as they are very harsh and the garage simply didn't pick up on it. There, now I have insulted you, So sue me.

they normaly do come with run flats but i think they have been changing that. also if its new just go to your dealer and talk to them about it. legal action is a big stretch.
