What is best way to adjust auto dimming rear view mirror?

Question

On Prius the rear spoiler affects the ability for the auto dimmer to work correctly.

Did not try tape but did use a black marker and dotted the sensor until I got the perfect light sensing...

If you don't want it to dim disconnect the power to the mirror. If you want it dimmer try a piece of black electrical tape over the front sensor on the mirror if it has one. Works on my Grand Prix. I'm not sure if the imports use the same dimming set up.

make sure the sensor is clean, other than that nothing to adjust....might need new one, probably have to have dealer look at it...
